Getting started

Welcome to ClassKeep

A quick tour of what ClassKeep does and the first few steps to set up your studio.

Welcome to ClassKeep

ClassKeep is the all-in-one studio platform for dance, yoga, fitness, martial arts, and any other class-based business. From your dashboard you can build a weekly class schedule, sell credits and subscriptions, manage clients and instructors, and publish a booking page that works on a custom domain.

This article walks you through what to set up first.

1. Configure your studio identity

Open Settings → General and set the studio name, contact details, time zone, currency and default locale. These power your booking page, receipts and notifications.

Then visit Settings → Identity to upload a logo, favicon and OG image. The logo appears in the dashboard sidebar and on the public student page.

2. Connect Stripe

Without Stripe, students cannot pay for drop-in classes, packages or subscriptions. Go to Settings → Billing and click Connect Stripe. ClassKeep walks you through Stripe's onboarding (you only need to do this once).

3. Build your first class type

A class type is the template for a recurring class — name, default duration, default capacity, default pricing, default instructors, color and tags. Open Templates in the sidebar and click New class type.

After saving, you can spawn sessions from this template on the Schedule page.

See: Class types, Schedule.

4. Publish your first session

Go to Schedule, click anywhere on the calendar (or use Add class), pick the class type, time, instructor and capacity, and save. The session is immediately bookable on your public studio page.

5. Share your public studio page

Every studio has a public booking page on ClassKeep (your unique studio URL). Open the Student page widget in the top bar and click the eye icon to preview, or visit Settings → Domain to connect a custom domain like book.yourstudio.com.

What to do next

If you ever lose your way, click the ? icon in the top bar of any page to open the help drawer with the article relevant to that screen.
