These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClassKeep platform ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
ClassKeep is a SaaS platform that helps studio owners manage class schedules, students, bookings, payments, and instructors. We provide the Service on a subscription basis. During early access, the Service is offered free of charge.
2. Account responsibility
You are responsible for the activity on your account, for keeping credentials secure, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must be at least 18 years old to operate a studio account; students must meet the age of majority in their jurisdiction or be enrolled by a parent/guardian.
3. Acceptable use
You will not use the Service to host illegal content, send unsolicited messages, attempt to access other studios' data, or interfere with the operation of the platform. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice when fraud or harm to others is suspected.
4. Payments
Studios accept payment from students through Stripe Connect. ClassKeep is not a party to those transactions and does not hold student funds. Studios are responsible for issuing receipts, refunds, and tax documents. ClassKeep's own subscription fees, when applicable, are billed via Stripe.
5. Intellectual property
ClassKeep and its logos are trademarks of the ClassKeep team. Studios retain ownership of their content (class data, branding, student lists) and grant ClassKeep a limited license to host and display that content as needed to operate the Service.
6. Termination
You may cancel and delete your studio at any time from Settings → Account. Deletion is scheduled with a 30-day grace period; financial records are retained for the period required by law. We may terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClassKeep's aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of Lisbon, except that consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the change date constitutes acceptance.
