Settings
Team and permissions
Invite admins to your studio dashboard and grant fine-grained permissions per area.
Team and permissions
Your studio can have multiple people in the dashboard, each with different responsibilities. Team and permissions is where you invite them and decide who can do what.
Open Settings → Team.
Roles
ClassKeep distinguishes:
- Owner — the person who originally created the studio. Always has full access. Cannot be removed.
- Studio admins — invited team members with a customizable permission set
- Instructors — separate, see Instructors
Invite a teammate
- Click Invite admin
- Enter their email address
- Pick a permission preset (Owner-equivalent / Manager / Read-only) or customize each toggle
- Send invite
If they already have a ClassKeep account, they're added to your studio immediately. Otherwise they receive a sign-up email and are added once they create an account.
The permission matrix
For each major area, you can grant view and manage independently:
| Area | view | manage | |------|------|--------| | Schedule | See sessions | Add, edit, cancel sessions | | Templates | See class types | Edit class types | | Resources | See resources | Manage resource types and items | | Clients | See client list and profiles | Edit clients, adjust credits, send invites | | Instructors | See instructor list | Invite, edit profiles, configure scheduling permissions | | Credits | See credit packages and subscription plans | Create / edit / archive packages and plans | | Payments | See revenue and transactions | Issue refunds, sync from Stripe | | Notifications | See the inbox | Configure notification rules | | Settings (subdivided) | See specific tabs | Edit specific tabs (general, billing, domain, page, policies) |
A "view-only" admin can navigate to a section but every server-side write is rejected — the UI hides the buttons too.
Owner protection
The owner row cannot be edited or removed from the team list. To transfer ownership, contact ClassKeep support.
Audit and traceability
The activity log captures invites sent, role changes and permission updates so you can trace who changed what.
