Your schedule and time off

Browse upcoming classes, request time off, and (if granted) create or edit your own sessions.

Your schedule and time off

The Schedule tab in your portal shows everything you're teaching — past, present and future — and lets you request time off.

Two views

  • Agenda — a vertical list of upcoming sessions, day by day. Best for planning.
  • Calendar — a read-only week or month grid (handy for spotting gaps).

Tap any session to see its details: students, capacity, resources and notes.

Time off

Use Time off to tell your studio you won't be available on certain dates. ClassKeep stores time-off entries and warns admins when scheduling a session that conflicts with your time off.

    • Open Profile → Time off
    • Click Add time off
    • Pick the start and end dates (whole-day or specific times)
    • Add an optional reason
    • Save

Existing sessions on those dates remain — your admin will need to find a substitute or cancel them.

Creating new classes

If your studio admin has granted you create new classes, you'll see an Add class button on your Schedule. The modal works just like the admin one, scoped to the class types and resources you're allowed to use.

You may also be able to edit your own created classes (rescheduling, capacity changes). Roster changes (adding or removing other instructors) are always admin-only.

Editing existing classes

If your studio admin has listed you as an editor for a class type, you can also edit any session of that type — useful for "anyone teaching Yoga can change the room".

See Instructor scheduling permissions for what each permission unlocks.

Conflicts

If you try to schedule a session in a time slot you've blocked off (time off) or where you're already teaching, ClassKeep shows a conflict warning. You can override — the override is logged.
